Refund Policy - Akashi Hosting

1. Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are only available within 7 days of the original purchase date for payment-to-card, PayPal, or Stripe refunds.
- Refunds will not be provided for domain registrations, software licenses, or third-party services.
- Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method (PayPal or Stripe). Refunds must be requested within 7 days, and no alternate payment methods or accounts will be accepted for refunds.
- No refunds will be issued due to delays or outages caused by natural disasters, power outages, or internet disruptions outside of Akashi Hosting's control.
- Refund processing times or fees via PayPal/Stripe are beyond Akashi Hosting's control.
2. Non-Refundable Services
Services that are suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Service Level Agreement, or any applicable legal or company policy are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.
- Game Servers: No refunds for user-related issues such as misconfigurations, mod failures, or custom script errors.
- Web Hosting: No refunds for user errors, misconfiguration, or failure to properly manage hosting accounts.
- Dedicated Servers: Non-refundable once deployed.
- Custom Services: Any service that involves manual work or customization is non-refundable.
- Trial/Free Services: These are not eligible for any form of refund.
- Fraudulent Use: No refunds will be granted for services purchased under false identity or stolen payment methods.
3. Chargebacks & Disputes
- Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute will result in immediate account suspension.
- To resolve billing issues, please contact support before disputing a payment.
4. Downgrades & Partial Refunds
- If a service is downgraded, eligible users may receive a partial refund as account credit, automatically processed by the billing system.
- Users may request a partial refund of the remaining time on a service if switching to a new product or service. The unused portion will be credited for use with other Akashi Hosting services.
- Credits can be used toward future purchases but are non-transferable and non-refundable in cash.
5. Subscription & Auto-Renewals
- Users are responsible for managing their subscription cancellations directly through PayPal or the billing system.
- Refund or cancellation requests automatically stop subscription auto-renewals.
6. Promotional Offers & Discounts
- Services purchased with promotional offers or discounts may have special refund terms clearly stated during the promotion.
7. Fraud Prevention & Identity Verification
- Akashi Hosting reserves the right to request identity verification for refund requests that appear suspicious or involve significant amounts.
- We reserve the right to monitor and flag unusual refund requests or payment activities.
- Akashi Hosting retains the right to refuse refunds if fraudulent activity is suspected.
8. How to Request a Refund
- Submit a support ticket via our support portal.
- Include your order ID, reason for the refund request, and relevant details.
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
Simple Refund Summary
- Refunds to PayPal/Stripe are available within 7 days only.
- No refunds for downtime caused by events outside our control.
- No refunds for services bought with fake/stolen identity or fraudulent intent.
- Partial refunds may be issued as credits during downgrades or service switches.
- Users must manage subscription cancellations themselves through PayPal or our billing system.
- Contact support before disputing a payment.
