How do I change my launch command or command line?

Custom command lines let you control which JAR file runs, add modloaders, and apply launch flags — especially useful for modded Minecraft servers.

How to Change Your Command Line

  1. Log in to the Akashi Hosting game panel
  2. Click Game Servers from the sidebar
  3. Select your Minecraft server — this step is required or the options will stay disabled
  4. Click Server Commandline
  5. Click Custom Commandlines
  6. Click New to create a new command line
  7. Fill in the fields:
    • JAR File: Choose or type the server jar you want to run
    • Modloader (optional): Select one if you're running Forge, Fabric, or Mohist
    • Description: Add a short name or tag (this is required)
  8. Click Save
  9. After saving, click Selections to activate your new command line
  10. Restart your server to apply changes

Notes

  • RAM is automatically managed and cannot be adjusted manually
  • You must add a description or the command line won’t save

If you're unsure which settings to use, or your modloader requires special flags, open a support ticket and we’ll help you configure it.
