When you order a hosting plan with Akashi Hosting, your FTP login details are automatically created and sent to your email. No manual setup needed.
What You Need
Check your welcome email for:
- FTP Host: ftp.yourdomain.com (or your server IP)
- Username: Provided in the email (usually your cPanel login)
- Password: Auto-generated and included in your welcome email
- Port: 21
- Connection Mode: FTP (Passive)
How to Connect (Using FileZilla)
- Download FileZilla
- Open FileZilla and go to File - Site Manager
- Click New Site and enter your connection info:
- Host: ftp.yourdomain.com
- User: From your welcome email
- Password: From your welcome email
- Port: 21
- Encryption: Use plain FTP
Troubleshooting Tips
- If your domain isn't pointing yet, use your server IP as the host
- Make sure Passive Mode is enabled (default in FileZilla)
- Can't log in? Double-check your welcome email or reset the password in cPanel
