You can automatically forward incoming mail from one email account to another using the Email Forwarders tool in cPanel.
Step 1: Open Email Forwarders
- Log in to your cPanel account
- Click on Forwarders under the Email section
- Click Add Forwarder
Step 2: Create the Forward
- Enter the username of the email address you want to forward (example:
info) - Select the domain from the dropdown (example:
@yourdomain.com) - Enter the destination email address (example:
yourname@gmail.com) - Click Add Forwarder
Notes
- The original mailbox still receives a copy of the email unless deleted or filtered
- You can forward to external addresses (Gmail, Outlook, etc.)
- Forwarders do not require the original email account to exist — it works as a redirect
- Forwarding lets you reply to customers from your personal inbox without exposing your private address
