How do I forward email to another address?

You can automatically forward incoming mail from one email account to another using the Email Forwarders tool in cPanel.

Step 1: Open Email Forwarders

  1. Log in to your cPanel account
  2. Click on Forwarders under the Email section
  3. Click Add Forwarder

Step 2: Create the Forward

  • Enter the username of the email address you want to forward (example: info)
  • Select the domain from the dropdown (example: @yourdomain.com)
  • Enter the destination email address (example: yourname@gmail.com)
  • Click Add Forwarder

Notes

  • The original mailbox still receives a copy of the email unless deleted or filtered
  • You can forward to external addresses (Gmail, Outlook, etc.)
  • Forwarders do not require the original email account to exist — it works as a redirect
  • Forwarding lets you reply to customers from your personal inbox without exposing your private address

If you're unsure or the forwarding isn’t working, open a support ticket and we’ll help test it for you.
