If you no longer need an email address, you can delete it through cPanel. This will remove all associated emails, folders, and access for that account.
Warning:
Deleting an email account is permanent. All emails in the account will be lost unless you back them up first.
Steps to delete an email account:
- Log in to your cPanel account
- Click on Email Accounts
- Find the account you want to remove
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Manage
- Select Delete and confirm
After Deletion
- Any messages sent to the deleted address will bounce
- If you need the address again, you’ll have to recreate it from scratch
